Function Description: This position will be part of Digital Transformation & Operational Governance (DTOG) team and will be responsible for delivering advanced analytical and technical project enablement for Market Controllers. The incumbent will be required to collaborate with the team, for identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities within & across International Controllership Organization.

We are looking for a motivated colleague who is collaborative and passionate about transforming processes using automation and has a drive to solve difficult business issues. The position demands intellectual rigor and a solution-oriented mindset to address intricate business challenges. As a member of DTOG team, you will orchestrate end-to-end automation and analytics deliverables encompassing solution design, development, system integration testing (SIT), debugging, and post-deployment support.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a continuous learning mindset.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate in-depth manual processes, assess automation viability, and recommend process optimization & improvement areas.

  • Work with Technology, Automation CoE, regional SPoC’s, FTDT, EDP and International colleagues to drive automation and analytics initiatives within Controllership.

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain technical processes and solutions.

  • Create End to End development roadmap, monitor and report progress.

  • Work with process owners to understand existing processes and redesign the same.

  • Resolve issues and remove roadblocks, coordinate with SMEs and Tech to perform comprehensive and robust testing including parallel runs and facilitate deployment via standard Tech processes.

  • Independently manage stakeholder queries, escalations, and project-related issues across multiple teams.

  • Prepare process-owner technical support documentation.

  • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert in automation and analytics capabilities & collaborate with market controllership teams in driving scalable solutions

  • Support other governance activities performed by the team, as necessary, for International Controllership.

Critical Factors to Success:

  • Proven experience in process improvement and automation using technologies listed under Technical Skills/Capabilities.

  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Ability to work with SMEs and system teams to understand requirements, assess functional/system flows, and design optimal solutions.

  • Determine technology and solutions that align with business strategies.

  • Technical ownership across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated FinTech knowledge and ability to design and implement end-to-end automated solutions.

Academic Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems or related field. Expert technical skills as outlined in Technical Skills/Capabilities section are mandatory.

Functional Skills / Capabilities:

  • Critical thinking capabilities to drive end-to-end technical solutioning and proper documentation skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal dexterity.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work across geographies and flexibility to work across multiple time zones

  • Knowledge of simplifying, redesigning, and automating complex finance processes.

  • Ability to learn new software and processes under tight deadlines.

  • Sound analytical skills and ability to identify opportunities for process excellence.

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

  • Strong coding & debugging skills in VBA programming, Macro coding, object model, and event-driven programming for automating complex financial workflows and data transformation pipelines within Microsoft Office environments. Expertise in Power-Query, DAX and SharePoint.

  • Ability to write clean, modular, and optimized code using best practices including Windows API calls.

  • Strong Python coding skills, data types, control flow, exception handling, file I/O, and modular programming. Expertise in libraries for data manipulation and analysis: NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn. virtualenv, pipenv, and Conda for environment setup.

  • Mastery in SQL, BigQuery with ability to write and debug complex queries. Query tuning using indexes and caching strategies.

  • Advanced Power-Platform skills:

  • Power Automate: Multi-step, condition-based flows integrated with SharePoint, Outlook, and APIs.

  • Power Apps: Responsive, low-code applications with embedded business logic and data connectors.

  • Power BI: Real-time dashboarding, DAX modeling, and integration with GCP and SQL-based data sources.

  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Access, PostgreSQL databases.

  • Visualization Tools – Tableau, Power BI.

  • Familiarity with Unix Shell scripting.

  • Robotics Frameworks – Blue Prism, including process studio, exception handling, and control room operations

  • Enterprise Systems – Essbase/Smart-View, Oracle, Fusion, OAS, FODL, Lumi, TM1, Axiom, Congnos, GlobeStar, Workiva etc., for internal candidates (in case of external candidate, it will be good to have).

  • Project management – Jira/Rally, Agile framework, Scrum, Confluence.
