Know more: Website/Instagram/LinkedIn About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Finops Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, accounting principles, and business metrics, coupled with technical proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python. This role requires analytical thinking, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. What You Will Be Doing Analyze financial data, business trends, and performance metrics to support financial planning and strategic decision-making. Develop, maintain, and automate financial models and dashboards using Excel and other BI tools. Perform budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis. Interpret complex data sets and provide clear, concise financial insights and reports. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and support business cases with quantitative data. Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate data from large databases. Use Python for data analysis, automation, and developing predictive financial models. Ensure financial and data integrity by applying accounting principles and ensuring consistency across financial reports. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. What You Bring To The Table Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions like Power Query, PivotTables, and VBA). Solid understanding of accounting terminology and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation. Proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business strategies. What Really Wows Us Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Familiarity with financial planning software or tools. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
