About the Role

This is a crucial role in supporting the Finance team by handling a wide range of day-to-day financial operations, ensures that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, processed, and reported in a timely manner which is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization.

The candidates must also be familiar with local financial regulations, including GST compliance and reporting standards, which are critical for regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the GL, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. Maintaining fixed asset register. Posting journal entries.
• Invoices: Preparing Purchase Orders, Recording of vendor invoices, vendor reconciliations, and TDS/GST schedules at month close. Raising export invoices on customers, follow up for payments and maintaining FIRC register.
• Reconciliation: Timely completion of reconciliations for all of GL accounts, Identifying reconciling items and its clearance with accuracy.
• Internal Control: Make sure all applicable internal controls are followed for all processes.
• Intercompany: Performing intercompany reconciliation and take necessary steps to clear the differences.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and schedules, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis on monthly basis within due date and with high accuracy.
• Compliances: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Direct and Indirect taxation: Prepare working files for Payroll taxes, Vendor TDS, GST filings and complete the filings.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and controls, proposing and implementing efficient solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.
• Budgeting: Building and updating Budgets / Forecasts in Jedox.

Educational Qualifications

• CA Inter/ MBA qualified with 2 – 3 yrs. exp. in accounting
• Relevant Experience/ Knowledge in Indian Accounting and Taxation.

Preferred Skills

• Zoho accounting experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel Knowledge. Jedox/Hyperian or similar software experience preferred.
