Job Title: Export Manager – Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare

Role Overview

Export Manager with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare exports

Key Responsibilities

International Business Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard

    distributors, importers, and institutional buyers

    across EMEA, ASEAN, Middle East, CIS, LATAM, and other focus markets.
  • Drive

    country-wise market entry strategy

    aligned with product registrations and regulatory feasibility
  • Negotiate commercial terms, MOUs, exclusivity, pricing, and payment structures

Export Operations & Execution

  • Manage complete

    export order lifecycle

    : inquiry → quotation → PO → documentation → shipment → payment closure
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, logistics, freight forwarders, and CHA for on-time dispatch
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of

    export documentation

    , including:
  • Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List
  • COO, COPP, FSC
  • Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
  • Insurance & shipping documents

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Work closely with QA/Regulatory teams to support:
  • Product dossiers (CTD / ACTD)
  • Country-specific registration requirements
  • Import permits, legalization, apostille, embassy attestation
  • Ensure compliance with

    DGFT, customs, GDP norms, and importing country regulations

  • Track regulatory timelines and renewal requirements for registered products

Commercial & Financial Control

  • Monitor export pricing, margins, incoterms, and payment terms
  • Manage LC, advance payments, DA/DP, and follow-ups for receivables
  • Coordinate with finance for export incentives, drawback, and GST refunds (where applicable)

Reporting & Strategy

  • Prepare market-wise export performance reports, pipeline trackers, and forecast plans
  • Provide insights on product demand, competitive pricing, and regulatory barriers
  • Support leadership in scaling exports into

    regulated and semi-regulated markets



Must-Have Experience & Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare exports

  • Proven experience handling

    finished dosage forms / OTC / wellness / nutraceutical products

  • Strong understanding of

    pharma export regulations, documentation, and compliance

  • Experience dealing with

    international distributors and regulatory authorities

  • Working knowledge of

    INCOTERMS, international logistics, and payment mechanisms

  • Ability to independently handle

    multiple countries and shipments in parallel



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, International Business, or related field
  • Exposure to

    International markets

  • Experience working with

    WHO-GMP / ISO / export-oriented pharma organizations

  • Familiarity with export CRM, ERP, or trade management systems
