Director – Human Resources

Key Responsibilities

1. Culture & Organizational Development

  • Define, strengthen, and sustain a values-driven organizational culture aligned with business objectives.
  • Design programs that reinforce core values across teams, leadership, and managerial layers.
  • Build culture rituals, recognition programs, communication frameworks, and engagement practices that support a high-trust, high-performance environment.
  • Conduct deep-dive culture diagnostics and lead change management initiatives to improve organizational health.
  • Partner with leadership to drive DEI, transparency, and employee experience initiatives.

  • 2. Leadership Development & Capability Building

    • Create and institutionalize leadership development frameworks for managers, senior managers, and future leaders.
    • Design learning paths for people managers focusing on coaching, strategic thinking, communication, and performance leadership.

    • Implement competency models, talent reviews, succession planning, and HiPo programs.
    • Act as a coach and thought partner to CXOs, Directors, and senior leaders.
    • Build a leadership culture based on accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.

  • 3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

    • Own and execute the recruitment strategy across functions and levels, ensuring high-quality and timely hiring.
    • Drive employer branding, pipeline development, and proactive talent mapping, especially for senior and niche roles.
    • Oversee recruitment operations, selection standards, assessments, and interview capability building across teams.
    • Partner with business leaders to plan workforce needs for growth and new initiatives.
    • Build a scalable recruiting engine supported by data, process discipline, and market intelligence.

  • 4. HR Operations & Team Leadership

    • Lead, mentor, and scale the HR team, offering strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence.
    • Strengthen HR policies, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance, fairness, and efficiency.
    • Build an HR analytics function to drive data-backed decision-making.
    • Oversee employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, performance management, rewards, and engagement.

  • Must-Have Experience & Qualification

    • 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience

      in fast-paced, product/SaaS/start-up/technology or mid-to-large organizations.
    • Proven track record of managing

      large and diverse HR teams

      (TA, L&D, HRBP, HR Ops).
    • Demonstrated success in:
    • Culture-building & organizational development
    • Leadership development program design
    • Senior-level stakeholder management
    • Recruitment strategy & scale hiring
    • Driving HR transformation

    • Strong understanding of performance frameworks, competencies, and managerial capability building.
    • Excellent communication, executive presence, and influencing skills.
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA in HR or equivalent preferred.

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience leading HR in high-growth or multi-location environments.
    • Exposure to global people practices and modern HR tools.
    • Certification in coaching, OD, or leadership development is a plus.
    • Deep experience in change management, transformation initiatives, or restructuring.
