As a Quality Specialist, you will play a dual role including that of a Scrum Master, combining your expertise in Quality management, Test engineering and agile methodologies. You will be a key member in the Engineering scrum team ensuring product quality standards are consistently fulfilled and Agile practices are upheld. Your role is key to delivering a high-quality, resilient, and impactful solution to customers. In this role you will also have responsibilities as below: Dual Role and Oversight: You will have a hybrid role as a Quality Specialist and Scrum Master, supporting the engineering scrum team through the entire software lifecycle to deliver high-quality and impactful solutions. Quality Assurance Strategy: You will define, implement, and execute all quality and testing activities. This includes establishing and tracking KPIs, designing and creating both manual and automated test cases focussing on max coverage, maintainability, and efficiency. Automation and CI/CD Focus: Champion clean code and "automation-first" principles. You will support and enhance CI/CD processes, including test pipelines and deployment automation, while monitoring system health throughout the development cycle. Collaboration and Reporting: Close collaboration with Development / Product Managers and development teams to improve test strategies , align on backlog items, and ensure delivery goals are met. You will be generating and presenting quality and test reports to stakeholders and senior management. Scrum Master Facilitation: You will organise and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. A crucial part of this role is to facilitate the removal of any impediments that block the team's progress. What You Bring Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering, or a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, or related technical field. 6-8 years as Quality / Test Engineer with a focus on automation. A robust background in Software QA, encompassing both manual and automated testing for web and backend applications, and proficient in various testing methodologies, including API integration and UI-based end-to-end testing. Expertise in test planning and execution, leveraging tools like Jira for requirement review and adhering to established testing principles. Proficient with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium / WebDriverIO, JUnit, Postman, TestNG, Cucumber and RestAssured, along with proprietary tools like QMATE and SUPA. Programming / scripting experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript, and are adept at API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, Swagger, Newman, and Karate. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security, language testing, and are proficient with defect management tools like ServiceNow. Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), with experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting engineering & delivery teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferrable Additional Skills Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., SAP BTP) in QA and deployment workflows will be a plus. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or relevant experience leading Agile teams. Prior experience in SAP environments or knowledge of SAP's quality standards.
