Position Summary
Level:
Lead Solution Advisor
Work you’ll do:
- Configure and enhance HAM modules including asset classes, models, lifecycle stages, and locations for robust hardware tracking and management.
- Develop and automate end-to-end asset workflows (intake, provisioning, transfer, retirement) using Flow Designer, business rules, and scripting.
- Integrate ServiceNow HAM with CMDB, Discovery tools (ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM), and procurement systems for unified asset visibility and control.
- Support and maintain automated asset validation mechanisms, including RFID/barcode integration and custom exception handling.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed use cases, functional workflows (Visio), and data models supporting asset lifecycle processes.
- Ensure asset tracking integrity and enforce policies for receiving, tagging, and accurate recording.
- Conduct inventory audits and oversee management of physical stockrooms/depot environments.
- Author and troubleshoot client scripts, custom modules, and integrations to support scalability and compliance
- Design dashboards and reports that provide insights on asset lifecycle, utilization, compliance, and process effectiveness.
- Assess and diagnose process gaps; recommend and implement optimizations for cost control, utilization, and policy compliance.
- Deliver training and technical support to teams on HAM modules, asset management best practices, and platform operations.
- Work closely with IT, procurement, cyber risk, and other teams to embed HAM processes into broader transformation and compliance programs.
- Participate in workshops, user story creation, and solution demos ensuring alignment between technical and business objectives.
- Contribute to sales activities through technical SME support and domain expertise
The team:
Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.
Qualifications:
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 5–7 years of solid experience with ServiceNow HAM, IT asset management, or related technology automation roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of HAM module configuration, workflow automation, system integrations, and inventory practices.
- Proficient in authoring business rules, scripting, exception handling, and automation solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with asset audits, data validation, and dashboard/report development.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- ServiceNow CSA, CIS-HAM, or other HAM/ITAM certifications.
- Familiarity with operating systems, servers, network hardware, and inventory management tools/environments.
- Proficiency with Visio, SCCM, Flow Designer, and related technical platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work, and adapt to ambiguity.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills.
- Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree + MBA (Preferred)
