Job Summary:

The Business Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the business unit within the service industry. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, service costing, and financial controls while partnering with business teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for service business units.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial closing in compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.

• Drive service costing analysis, unit economics, and cost allocation models across functions or projects.

• Monitor and control operational expenses, ensuring alignment with business targets.

• Prepare and present monthly MIS, dashboards, and management reports to leadership.

• Provide financial insights to business teams for pricing, contract profitability analysis, and service line performance.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost optimization and margin improvement opportunities.

• Support statutory, tax, and internal audits with necessary schedules and reconciliations.

• Evaluate financial viability of new projects, service lines, and investments.

• Monitor receivables, billing cycles, and working capital within the service environment.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate governance standards.

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management in a service industry context.

• Expertise in service costing, unit economics, and project-based financial tracking.

• Advanced Excel and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).

• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision support.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
