Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who can take ownership of bringing in new clients for our social media services. This role suits someone who has sold digital marketing, social media, content or influencer-related services before and understands how to speak to brand owners and marketing teams.

You’ll be responsible for identifying prospects, pitching, converting leads and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The focus is on building a healthy pipeline and establishing long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and reach out to brands that fit our service offerings
• Build and manage a steady pipeline of leads through active outreach, networking and follow-ups
• Understand client requirements and recommend the right social media solutions
• Present proposals, plans and pricing in a clear and confident manner
• Handle the full cycle of sales — from the first conversation to deal closure and onboarding
• Coordinate with the internal team to ensure a seamless handover after onboarding
• Maintain accurate records, track progress and report on key sales activities
• Represent the agency professionally in all client interactions

Requirements:

• 4–7 years of experience in business development or sales in a

  digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing or creative agency

• Good understanding of social media platforms and brand communication
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in closing service retainers is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently, stay organised and meet targets
• Someone who enjoys building relationships and takes initiative
