We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven North America Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the IT, IoT, Software Development, Data Analytics, Mobile App Development, and similar domains. The role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of sales, technology solutions, and consultative selling. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Planning & Market Research: o Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for North America. o Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and recommendations for business growth to maintain knowledge. o Create and maintain a database for different verticals through data mining activities which will be executed by you and the data research team. • Lead Generation & Relationship Building: o Identify, engage, and establish relationships with key decision-makers in target industries. o Generate leads and close deals through networking, cold outreach, partnerships, referrals, and other areas. Ensure thorough documentation of sales activities using a CRM tool. • Sales Activities & Client Engagement: o Book in-person meetings for management/senior team members with prospective clients. o Work with seniors to produce contracts and develop quotes with potential clients, also supportive documents like presentations and business cases tailored to client needs. o Lead sales negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to bring new logos to the company and expand business nationwide. o Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals. • Pipeline Management & Client Onboarding: o Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and update CRM systems regularly. o Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution. • Account Management & Ongoing Relationship Maintenance: o Perform account management for landed accounts and take accountabilities for all activities. • Event & Networking Support: o Assists members who plan road trips to attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to expand business networks. Ideal Candidate Profile: Qualifications & Experience: • Educational Background: o Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Work Experience: o Minimum 5+ years of North America experience in technology sales, business development, or account management in the IT, IoT, Software, Data Analytics, or similar domain. o Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in North America. o Prior experience in handling enterprise sales, technology consulting, or solution-based sales is a plus. o Experience in consultative selling and handling complex solution sales cycles. • Technical Expertise & Industry Knowledge: o In-depth knowledge of technologies like IoT, AI/ML, Cloud, Industrial Automation. Product Engineering Services (Embedded), Automated Test Equipment (LabVIEW) is preferred. o Specialized knowledge in IoT, IT, OT, AI, Web/Mobility technologies. Experience with Reality applications, chatbots, cloud, RPA, DevOps, and ServiceNow is beneficial. • Sales & Business Development Skills: o Strong lead generation, key decision-makers prospecting, existing relationships in industries relevant to our services, and networking skills, with experience in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, and cold calling. o Experience in prospecting, calling, and conducting virtual/in-person meetings and presentations. o Understanding of CRM tools like Zoho/Salesforce, marketing automation (Pardot/Marketo), and data mining tools (Hoover/ZoomInfo) is a plus. Skills & Competencies: • Communication & Presentation Skills: o Excellent communication, written, negotiation, and presentation skills. o Polished presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Relationship Management & Collaboration: o Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients. o Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team. • Analytical & Organizational Skills: o Strong analytical skills for market research and competitive analysis. o Goal-oriented, organized team player with attention to detail and strong documentation skills. o Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently with limited supervision. • Technical & Sales Tool Proficiency: o Proficient in MS Office Suite and sales tools such as CRM (Zoho/Salesforce), Project Management (Jira/Projects), Data Mining (Hoover/ZoomInfo), and Meeting Tools (GoToMeeting/MS Teams/Zoom). • Work Flexibility & Travel Requirements: o Willingness to travel across North America as needed. o Willing to work in US time zones.
