Role Summary

Business Development Manager


This role requires someone with strong experience in business development within advertising, digital marketing, or integrated agencies — and a network that works. You’ll be representing MMAG to senior decision-makers at brands, helping them see how our creative thinking and strategic expertise can solve their business problems.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

● Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across sectors including

consumer goods, startups, D2C brands, BFSI, tech, lifestyle, and retail.

● Lead the entire BD lifecycle — from prospecting and outreach to pitching, proposal

writing, follow-ups, and closures.

● Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects aligned with MMAG’s growth goals.

● Proactively generate leads through your own network, referrals, events, LinkedIn,

and other relevant channels.


Client & Market Intelligence

● Stay plugged into the market — track trends, identify whitespace opportunities, and

understand emerging client needs.

● Map decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations and develop

outreach strategies.

● Craft and tailor outreach communications and credentials decks for each prospective

client.


Pitch & Proposal Ownership

● Collaborate with strategy, creative, and leadership teams to prepare customized pitch

presentations and proposals.

● Lead business pitch meetings and participate in RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.

● Ensure proposals are commercially sound, creatively strong, and strategically

aligned.


Relationship Building & Networking

●Build and nurture long-term relationships with CMOs, marketing heads, founders,

and brand custodians.

● Represent MMAG at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

● Maintain regular engagement with past prospects and dormant leads for future

opportunities.


Growth Strategy & Reporting

● Track business development KPIs — revenue targets, conversion ratios, lead quality,

and pipeline health.

● Work closely with leadership on revenue forecasting, strategic partnerships, and

market expansion plans.

● Offer feedback from the market to shape service offerings, packaging, and agency

positioning.


Key Qualifications

Experience & Skills

●5–8 years in business development or sales within a digital marketing, creative, or

mandatory

● Strong personal network with brand decision-makers, especially within marketing,

digital, or CXO teams.

● Demonstrated ability to open doors, lead meetings, and close multi-service

campaigns or retainer deals.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills — from elevator pitches to

high-stakes boardroom presentations.

● Deep understanding of agency services: digital strategy, media planning,

performance, creative, content, influencer, branding, and production.


Technical Proficiency

● Comfortable with CRM tools, Excel-based trackers, and PowerPoint/Keynote for pitch

presentations.

● Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and KPIs is a plus.
