About the Role

We’re looking for a Brand Strategist who blends analytical thinking with creative storytelling, someone who can turn insights into compelling brand narratives, powerful visual communication, and impactful campaigns and bring them to life - perfect for someone passionate about brand building on an international scale.

As a Brand Strategist at Navaan, you’ll play a key role in shaping brand narratives that resonate across cultures and markets and create strategies to develop and maintain a company’s brand identity. You’ll lead research, strategy, and positioning efforts that turn client goals into global brand success stories.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with client and company objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, brand audits, and SWOT assessments to identify opportunities and insights.
  • Define and articulate brand architecture, positioning, messaging, value propositions, voice, and tone across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, digital, product, and sales teams to align brand direction with business goals.
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines, visual standards, and tone of voice frameworks to ensure global consistency.
  • Partner with design and content teams to develop visual assets, marketing materials, and brand campaigns that reflect strategic direction.
  • Plan and support brand activations, events, sponsorships, and partnerships to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Analyse brand performance metrics, KPIs, and consumer data to optimise awareness, loyalty, and perception.
  • Manage brand budgets and resources to ensure high ROI and efficiency in campaign execution.
  • Present brand strategies, creative briefs, and performance reports to senior management and client stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior to inform innovative brand tactics.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Brand Strategist, Brand Manager, or in a similar role (agency experience preferred).
  • Proven expertise in brand development, digital marketing, and cross-cultural communications.
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology, audience segmentation, competitive positioning, and a creative mindset with an eye for design & storytelling.
  • Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign) for design and visual tasks.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and client collaboration.
  • Leadership qualities - ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, global work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.


Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to B2B or B2C international marketing across regions such as North America, Europe, or APAC.
  • Experience in digital-first brand campaigns, influencer strategy, or integrated communications.
  • Familiarity with PR, social media strategy, and digital brand management.
