How will you contribute?

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with 6-9 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, deployment, and security practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as ensuring the security of cloud-based applications and infrastructure within Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes and streamline release management.

• Configure and manage Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines, containers, and networking resources.

• Implement security best practices and policies to protect Azure resources, including access control, network security, and data encryption.

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities in Azure environments.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to deployment, scalability, and security.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

• Stay up to date with the latest Azure DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure and processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents or emergencies related to Azure infrastructure or deployments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Azure DevOps, deployment, and security.

• Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, etc.

• Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and experience with tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure security features and best practices, including identity management, network security groups, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in Azure.

• Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar.

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and multi-cloud environments.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and experience integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure Boards.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
