Job Description

1. Strategic Design & Development Leadership Directed the strategic planning and design development of energy-efficient and modular data centres exceeding 10 MW , aligning with organizational growth and ESG objectives. Championed the integration of Uptime Institute Tier certifications , TIA-942 , ASHRAE guidelines , and ISO standards into architectural and MEP frameworks. Drove the adoption of sustainable practices including green building principles and next-gen cooling and power systems during the design phase. Collaborated with cross-functional internal teams, architects, consultants, and technical advisors to optimize functional layouts, space planning, and redundancy strategies. 2. Project Management & Execution Excellence Delivered large-scale greenfield data centre projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timeline objectives. Defined detailed project scopes, CapEx budgets, risk mitigation frameworks, and implementation roadmaps. Conducted project milestone reviews, progress tracking, dashboard reporting, and stakeholder updates to ensure high transparency and governance. Deployed tools like MS Project , AutoCAD , and Revit/BIM for resource planning, scheduling, and visualization. 3. Technical Oversight & Engineering Governance Supervised complete detailed engineering and validation of all key systems including Electrical (EHV, DGs, UPS, HT/LT panels) , Mechanical (Chillers, CRACs, HVAC) , Civil , and Automation (BMS, SCADA) . Reviewed and authorized technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, BOQs, and installation checklists. Ensured smooth testing, integrated system commissioning, snag closure, and handover with minimal variations or deviations. 4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Acted as the primary interface for consultants, clients, regulatory authorities, and investors, ensuring project alignment, approvals, and expectations were consistently met. Conducted technical evaluations, negotiated contracts, and ensured SLA compliance with contractors and service providers (civil, MEP, commissioning). Drove vendor onboarding, performance monitoring, and escalation resolution with a focus on quality and timeliness. 5. Regulatory Compliance & Statutory Approvals Liaised with municipal and central authorities to secure timely clearances across fire, environment, electrical, and other statutory domains. Ensured end-to-end compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) , EHS , and internal audit standards throughout the project lifecycle. 6. Site Logistics & Material Management Oversaw site infrastructure including material movement, inward-outward register maintenance, vendor billing, storage, and logistics coordination. Ensured cost control and optimized inventory through real-time tracking and documentation systems. 7. Quality Assurance & Zero-Defect Delivery Led comprehensive QA/QC audits across design, procurement, and construction, enforcing high standards of execution.
