About the Role

Technical Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates using multiple channels including LinkedIn, GitHub, job portals, referrals, networking events, and specialized communities.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates for technical and cultural fit.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding handoff.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of technical talent for current and future openings.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives and promote the company as an employer of choice within the tech ecosystem.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reports using ATS/CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–6 years of proven experience in technical recruitment, preferably within product, SaaS, IT services, or startup environments.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles such as Frontend/Backend Developers, Full Stack Engineers, DevOps, Cloud, Data Engineers, AI/ML specialists, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Naukri, AngelList, Stack Overflow, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience hiring for niche skills (AI/ML, Data Science, Blockchain, Cybersecurity).
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, Darwinbox, Workday, or similar).
  • Prior exposure to employer branding or campus recruitment.
