Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance function and ensure the highest standards in product performance, manufacturing excellence, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial machinery, mechatronics, or laser systems quality, with proven leadership in managing end-to-end QA processes in a manufacturing and engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership & Systems Lead the development and implementation of QA/QC systems, SOPs, and inspection protocols across production lines. Oversee quality assurance across mechanical, electrical, optical, and software-integrated components of laser systems. Define and monitor key quality metrics (DPPM, CPk, NCRs, rework rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Process Control & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable national and international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CE marking). Establish and maintain robust testing, inspection, and calibration procedures for laser machines and automation systems. Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective & preventive actions (CAPA), and 8D reporting for customer and internal issues. Team Management & Development Build, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, inspectors, and technicians. Foster a culture of quality ownership and proactive problem-solving within production and R&D teams. Supplier Quality Assurance Implement supplier quality programs, audits, and incoming inspection procedures for critical parts and assemblies. Collaborate with procurement and engineering to qualify vendors and improve part quality at source. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Service, and Sales to ensure quality objectives align with business goals. Support new product introduction (NPI) with design validation, pilot batch testing, and process qualification. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production Engineering. 3 to 8 years of progressive experience in QA/QC, preferably in capital equipment, automation systems, or precision manufacturing industries. In-depth knowledge of laser systems, CNC machinery, robotics, or high-precision equipment is a strong advantage. Strong command of quality tools and methodologies: Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5S, Lean principles. Familiarity with ERP systems and QA documentation tools.
