-Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Technician Department: Maintenance Location: Nighoje Chakan, Pune Reporting To: Maintenance Head / Plant Head Job Description We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our Maintenance team. The role involves handling preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, utilities, and automated machines in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems, laser cutting machines, robotic welding cells, presses & other automated equipment. Troubleshoot & repair CNC controllers, PLCs, servo drives, HMIs, sensors & electrical panels. Maintain robot controllers & teaching pendants (Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa or equivalent). Monitor & maintain plant utilities compressors, DG sets, chillers, HVAC, transformers, substations, UPS, LT/HT panels. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards & statutory regulations. Maintain & update electrical circuit diagrams, maintenance checklists & spare parts inventory. Coordinate with OEMs/service providers for specialized maintenance & AMC. Support installation & commissioning of new machines and automation projects. Implement energy conservation & reliability improvement initiatives. Prepare daily, weekly & monthly maintenance MIS reports. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, robotics & CNC controls. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting laser cutting machines & robotic systems. Familiarity with plant utility maintenance (compressors, DG, HVAC). Knowledge of safety protocols: lockout-tagout (LOTO), 5S, TPM. Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, wiring diagrams & automation schematics. Qualification & Experience Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering. Experience: 3-8 years in electrical maintenance (preferably automotive / sheet metal industry). Preferred Certifications: PLC programming, Robotics maintenance, HT/LT electrical license.
