Sr. QA Analyst
Leads complex testing projects, designs and executes test plans, maintains automated test scripts as needed, performs performance and load testing as needed, manages defect resolution, integrates QA with development pipelines, and guides team members around QA best practices.
2-4 years of relevant experience
QA Technical Competence (Must have):
- Manual Testing – Advanced in executing, optimizing test cases, and identifying defects.
- QA Strategy & Test Design – Expertise in creating complex, efficient test cases.
- Bug Reporting – Proficient in defect documentation and management.
- SDLC Knowledge – Deep understanding of SDLC and QA integration.
- Problem-Solving – Strong skills in resolving issues and driving improvements.
- Attention to Detail – Exceptional accuracy and quality focus.
- Communication – Effective in reporting and leading QA discussions.
- Accessibility – Intermediate knowledge of accessibility standards.
- Test Automation – knowledge of automation tools and frameworks.
- QA Project Management – Experienced in working on multiple projects.
QA Test concepts (Must have):
- Manual Functional Testing – Proficiency in executing manual functional tests for small to medium projects.
- Regression Testing – Understanding how to perform regression testing to ensure new changes don’t affect existing functionality.
- Defect Documentation & Retesting – Competence in documenting defects, tracking them, and retesting to verify fixes.
- Adaptability to Changes – Ability to adjust testing plans and approaches in response to project changes.
- Accessibility & Performance Testing Basics – Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and introductory performance testing practices.
QA Process (Must have):
- Advanced QA Practices: Deep understanding of testing types and their applications within various SDLC models.
- Test Case Development: Refine skills in writing comprehensive test cases, executing them, and analyzing results to ensure thorough coverage.
- Defect Management: Improve defect reporting accuracy, including detailed reproduction steps and impact assessment, and manage the defect lifecycle effectively.

This role involves greater responsibility, including leading testing efforts, coordinating with other team members, and contributing to test strategy and planning. The workload is designed to challenge their skills and expand their experience while ensuring manageable complexity.
