Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Senior Marketing Manager. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and growth. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, managing social media and content creation, conducting market research, coordinating with PR agencies, and analyzing marketing performance metrics. Additionally, the role involves leading a marketing team, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with the brand's vision and goals.

 

1. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

  • Identify potential clients through market research, digital campaigns, networking, and events.
  • Develop and execute lead-generation strategies via trade shows, outbound outreach, and online platforms.
  • Qualify leads and pass on warm leads for order closure.


2. Initial Client Engagement & Pitching

  • Initiate communication with potential B2B/wholesale clients.
  • Present the brand’s offerings, USPs, and wholesale advantages.
  • Understand client requirements and tailor product suggestions accordingly.


3. Branding & Marketing Strategy

  • Define the overall brand positioning and tone across all platforms.
  • Build quarterly and annual marketing calendars (retail + wholesale + e-comm).
  • Drive campaigns aligned with product launches, festivals, and sales goals.
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all touchpoints.


4. Marketing Planning & Budgeting

  • Create annual and quarterly marketing plans with measurable goals.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget across campaigns, shoots, events, and collaborations.
  • Track ROI on spends and optimize based on performance metrics.


5. PR, Influencer Collaborations & Brand Visibility

  • Build and manage relationships with stylists, influencers, and media houses.
  • Drive PR campaigns, event participation, and influencer marketing.
  • Oversee press releases, gifting strategy, and brand features.
  • Maintain and enhance brand reputation.


6. Social Media & Website Direction

  • Oversee strategy for Instagram, website, and other digital platforms.
  • Approve content calendars created by Caroline and ensure alignment with brand campaigns.
  • Review performance metrics (engagement, conversion, reach) and direct improvements.
  • Ensure website reflects current collections, campaigns, and events.


7. Campaign & Shoot Management

  • Conceptualize photoshoots and lookbooks for campaigns, collection drops, and PR.
  • Select models, photographers, stylists, and locations.
  • Approve final visuals and supervise post-production.
  • Ensure visuals align with brand mood, storytelling, and seasonal narratives.


8. Sales Support & Business Development

  • Work closely with sales team to strategize marketing support for promotions and revenue targets.
  • Use marketing to enable sales conversions through promotions, storytelling, and branding.
  • Collaborate with the design and sales team to gain product insights and client feedback.


9. Team Management & Execution Oversight

  • Lead, guide, and monitor the execution responsibilities of Khushi (Marketing Assistant) and Caroline (Social Media & Website).
  • Ensure timely delivery of campaigns, content, and client communications.
  • Align cross-functional teams (design, production, sales) for smoother campaign rollouts.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies, both digital and traditional
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing tools
  • Strong skills in market research, data analysis, and performance measurement
  • Leadership skills, including team management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Mumbai
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in the fashion industry is a must
