Role Overview

Senior IT Manager

Key Responsibilities

Internal Operations & Automation

• Lead automation initiatives across departments using AI/ML to streamline workflows and improve efficiency (e.g., HR, Finance, Creative, Account Management).
• Implement and maintain AI-powered tools and platforms that support operational excellence.
• Drive internal tech audits, cybersecurity best practices, and system upgrades.
• Present ideas through quick Proof of Concepts (POC) to evaluate and validate technological solutions.

Client-Facing Tech Projects

• Manage end-to-end delivery of client-facing digital projects such as websites, landing pages, microsites, and interactive digital campaigns.
• Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and Account teams to translate brand objectives into seamless digital experiences.
• Oversee the development and implementation of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, etc.).
• Ensure backend technologies like PHP and frontend frameworks such as React are leveraged effectively.
• Cloud technology experience is highly valued for infrastructure and deployment efficiency.

Tech Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the agency’s long-term IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies (AI, MarTech, AdTech) to keep the agency ahead of digital trends.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, IT support staff, and vendors/freelancers.
• Encourage team management practices and foster essential soft skills within the department.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of overall experience preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, preferably in a creative/advertising/digital agency environment.
• Proven experience in AI implementation and automation of workflows within an organization.
• Strong understanding of website development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS, hosting, analytics, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with PHP (backend) and React (frontend) development.
• Cloud technology proficiency is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with marketing tools like CRM, marketing automation, and data integration tools is a plus.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Zapier, Make (Integromat), etc.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and performance optimization.
• Prior experience working on tech integration for digital campaigns or performance marketing.
