Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations. This role combines strategic leadership, people management, HR analytics, compliance, and talent development, ensuring HR practices support organizational goals and foster a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and manage diverse HR functions across all levels.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership & Governance

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational and business objectives.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession management, and organizational design.
  • Lead HR process transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Benchmark HR practices and maintain competitiveness through market intelligence.
  • Oversee HR audits, policy updates, ISO/client evaluations, and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments to ensure timely, quality hiring.
  • Strengthen employer branding to attract skilled professionals in healthcare and medico-legal domains.
  • Collaborate with department heads to define role-specific competency frameworks.
  • Drive structured onboarding and induction programs for smooth integration of new hires.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, and new hire retention.

3. Performance Management & Employee Development

  • Implement KPI- and KRA-based performance management systems across teams.
  • Facilitate goal setting, mid-year, and annual appraisal cycles with calibration reviews.
  • Support managers in identifying underperformance and building improvement plans.
  • Design incentive, reward, and recognition programs tied to business outcomes.
  • Conduct competency mapping and skill-gap analysis for career and leadership development.

4. Learning & Development

  • Build and manage the annual training and development calendar.
  • Implement leadership and professional development programs for team leads and managers.
  • Partner with external trainers and e-learning platforms to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Track training participation, feedback, and ROI to measure development impact.
  • Promote a continuous learning culture and internal mobility opportunities.

5. Employee Relations, Engagement & Culture

  • Foster a positive, transparent, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Drive employee engagement surveys, team events, and feedback initiatives.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with fairness and empathy.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct employee counselling, recognition programs, and CSR or engagement activities.

6. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Oversee payroll coordination, incentive disbursements, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Maintain HRMS for attendance, leave, and reimbursements management.
  • Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and process standardization across HR operations.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Prepare and present monthly HR dashboards and analytics to leadership.

7. HR Technology, Analytics & Process Improvement

  • Manage and optimize HRMS, ATS, and digital HR tools for automation and efficiency.
  • Utilize HR analytics to monitor trends in attrition, performance, and engagement.
  • Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvements for scalability and efficiency.
  • Support manpower forecasting and budget planning using data-driven insights.

Requirements Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Human Resource Management, Labor Laws, and Statutory Compliance.Excellent understanding of Payroll, Compensation & Benefits AdministrationHands-on experience with HRMS / ATS tools (Zoho People, GreytHR, Darwinbox, or equivalent)Strong analytical and reporting skills using MS Excel and HR dashboardsExceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources — MBA (HR), MSW (HR), MHRM, or PGDM in HR from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
  • Preferred Certifications: HR Analytics, Talent Management, Performance Management Systems, Statutory Compliance, or Payroll Management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HRMS/ATS platforms such as Zoho People, GreytHR, or similar systems.
