Job Description

The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the company’s accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing actionable financial insights to support business decisions. Location: Head Office – Okhla, New Delhi Key Responsibilities / Duties: Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and collection. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings. Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes. Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making. Coordinate with internal teams for cost control, expense management, and financial reporting. Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Required Skills & Competencies: Accounting & Bookkeeping: Strong understanding of accounting principles, ledger management, and reconciliations. Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Statutory Compliance: Knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory requirements. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. ERP / Accounting Software: Proficiency in Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar software. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate financial information to management. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues promptly. Good-to-Have Skills: Budgeting & Forecasting: Experience in preparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts. Tax Filing & Planning: Knowledge of corporate tax filing and planning strategies. Audit Support: Experience coordinating internal and external audits. Process Improvement: Ability to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with finance, operations, and other departments. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Postgraduate degree (MBA in Finance, M.Com, or equivalent) preferred. Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or ICWA are preferred. Work Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B sectors. Experience handling accounts, audits, and statutory compliance is required. KPIs / Performance Indicators: Accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports. Compliance with statutory requirements and audit readiness. Efficiency in accounts receivable and payable processes. Contribution to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives. Identification and resolution of financial discrepancies. Support in strategic financial decision-making. Working Conditions / Special Requirements: Office-based role with periodic coordination with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities. Requires high attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Collaborative work with finance, operations, and management teams.
