The main purpose of this role is to protect our Organization’s IT systems and date from potential threats and breaches. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard the Organization’s digital assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITES: o Drive Information Security Management policy and enhancements o Develop and deliver solutions for managing the risk of enterprise systems, applications and data through policies and controls, risk assessments, issues and exception management, and third-party risk management o Aid with IT Security threat modelling, risk assessment and security control enhancement projects in areas such as system hardening, data loss prevention, antivirus, SaaS application security, and remote access o Implement and manage solutions for data discovery in support of GDPR and other privacy requirements. o Ensure the secure integration of SaaS and cloud-based solutions and features including integration with identity providers o Utilize tools to monitor and govern SaaS applications, services, systems, and data o Write documentation such as procedures, processes, policies, reports, training materials and user guides o Collect, coordinate, and analyse internal security compliance data. Prepare compliance audit data o Conduct and review vulnerability scans, monitor security alerts, and assess risks o Plan and prioritize remediation activities o Drive completion of management responses and mitigation plans, track progress of mitigation activities o Provides individual and group instruction, as needed, on security process, policies, and tools. o Assists with preparing and providing necessary project information to support the global IT strategy. o Provides regular updates to the IT Leads on assigned projects. o Maintains effective communication with all areas within JAS Forwarding. o Adheres to all published organizational, safety policies and procedures as described in the JAS Forwarding employee handbook. REQUIRED SKILLS: o Self-Management – You need to possess the drive and ability to deliver on projects without constant supervision. o Technical – This role has a heavy emphasis on thinking and working outside the box. o Logic – You need to have the ability to work through and make logical sense of complicated and often abstract solutions and processes. o Language – Our company has a global footprint, with offices and clients around the globe. The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English, is a must. The ability to clearly communicate, on a technical level, is essential to your job. This includes both verbal and written communication. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: o Strong understanding of Information Security controls and principles. o Experience with security compliance policies, threat modelling, secure code review, risk analysis. o Significant experience with Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud Technologies o Experience working on Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and ISO standards. o Experience with contemporary privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA o Strong English Language and documentation skills, with a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts. o Sound organizational, and leadership skills; sound business judgment. QUALIFICATIONS: o Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Technology related to field. o 5+ years’ experience in Cybersecurity ENVIRONMENT: o 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
