Ocean Procurement Manager

As an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company, JAS offers a wide range of services including air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage, and other supply chain management services. Your role at JAS will involve strategically developing and managing carrier relations for ocean services, driving new business by providing procurement solutions, negotiating and managing trades, and supporting branches to increase volumes and market share. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage carrier relations for ocean services in alignment with global and local guidelines. - Drive new business growth by providing strategic pricing and procurement solutions. - Negotiate trades, provide market information, and coach sales and operations on ocean products. - Support branches in increasing volumes and market share, and actively participate in setting ICP areas with sales channels. - Organize and manage allocations with various carriers, establish and drive execution of procurement strategy for exports and imports. - Package and communicate Ocean Services Procurement strategy to branches, commercial organization, and overseas network. - Establish, analyze, and manage KPIs internally to drive corporate efficiencies and reduce operating costs. - Contribute procurement information to budget process, guide and develop regional and local procurement colleagues. - Ensure timely response to inquiries, manage special projects, and provide continuous guidance to commercial channels and customer service teams.
