Role OverviewSenior Sales Director – Inside Sales

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute a
comprehensive inside sales strategy
spanning both SaaS solutions and consulting services (including workshops and training programs). - Drive revenue growth in India (
~70% focus
) while building a sustainable pipeline for overseas markets (~30% focus
, primarily US). - Identify market trends, key customer segments, and business opportunities to maximize lead conversion and revenue impact.
Team Management & Development- Build, mentor, and manage a
high-performing inside sales team
that can handle both SaaS and mainly consulting opportunities. - Set ambitious yet achievable KPIs, sales quotas, and pipeline targets to ensure consistent delivery against goals.
- Create a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous learning.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Growth- Oversee the full inside sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, demos/presentations, negotiations, and closures.
- Develop tailored pitches for
workshops, trainings, and consulting solutions
in addition to SaaS products. - Collaborate with marketing to optimize inbound and outbound campaigns for lead generation and nurturing.
- Implement best practices in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), sales automation, and analytics.
Market & Client Engagement- Cultivate strong relationships with
enterprise decision-makers
in India and key international markets, especially the US
. - Represent Serein at client presentations, workshops, industry forums, and strategic events to strengthen market presence.
- Provide market intelligence and client insights to influence product development and consulting offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to develop customized SaaS + consulting proposals and client solutions.
- Ensure seamless handover of closed deals to delivery teams for successful implementation of workshops and training programs.
Key RequirementsExperience:
- Minimum
10+ years of inside sales experience
, with significant exposure to both B2B SaaS
and consulting/solution sales
. - Proven success selling into
US markets
and handling international client relationships. - Strong understanding of inside sales operations, demand generation, and sales forecasting for both product and service-led businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale inside sales teams and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a consultative approach.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a
fast-paced, high-growth environment
.
Preferred Attributes- Experience in selling
training, consulting, or workshop-based solutions
alongside SaaS products. - Deep knowledge of
US B2B sales practices
