Role Overview

Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Review product requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases
Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or other tools
Perform regression, functional, UI, cross-browser, and usability testing
Collaborate with Canadian QA and engineering teams during overlapping hours
Support testing efforts for sprint releases and production deployments
Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA process improvements
Ensure quality standards are met in compliance with healthcare product expectations

Required Skills and Experience

2–4 years of experience in a QA or software testing role
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case creation, defect reporting and use of automation for testing
Experience using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
Familiarity with API testing and browser dev tools
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team
Must be comfortable working within North American time zones

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing in healthtech, SaaS, or regulated software environments
Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
Understanding of HIPAA, PHIPA, or similar data protection practices is a plus
