TTEC Digital is seeking an experienced Proposal Managerwho is familiar with APMP’s Book of Knowledge or similar approaches (e.g., Shipley) to develop and execute winning proposals that help our clients achieve their goals.
Working with our Sales Team, TTEC Digital Proposal Managers create and develop proposals in support of our sales teams in response to commercial and public sector RFx/tenders. Responsibilities include analyzing requests for proposals (RFxs); contributing to bid strategy and win themes; collaborating with technology partners on strategy and content creation; developing the proposal plan and templates; and conducting proposal reviews for bid strategy, responsiveness to RFx, thoroughness, accuracy, quality, and effective design and layout.
The Proposal Manager will use pre-existing materials as well as manage and moderate new content in Responsive. This role is expected to work with SMEs within TTEC Digital to ensure the content is “on brand” and the entire proposal is client-centric, responsive, and compliant with RFx requirements. The proposal manager must understand client/prospect’s challenges and goals (as outlined in the RFx and the seller’s opportunity plan) and ensure the team addresses those items in the response. Additionally, the manager is responsible for QA and ensuring the proposal storyline / all sections of the proposal are consistent, that our differentiators are made clear, and that we are persuasive in explaining why the client should select TTEC Digital for their partner.
What You'll Be Doing:
Analyze RFx requirements and advise the RFx team on how to submit high-quality proposal documents by the deadline. This includes evaluating and scoring intake surveys to make recommendations on a go/no go decision.
- Lead a virtual pursuit team to complete the response on time, including developing a detailed proposal plan with a schedule and requirements matrix. Identify risks to a compelling, compliant proposal and take corrective action / escalate when necessary.
Create proposal content and edit the content others submit to ensure win themes and proof points are used in compliance with the win strategy, client articulated format / instructions, and client objectives.
Provide quality assurance of other proposal management team members’ proposals to check for consistency in branding our company and our services, including collaborating with internal SMEs on content that presents us as “one TTEC,” regardless of the technical platform(s) being proposed.
Manage existing and moderate new content in the Responsive content library in collaboration with various SMEs and departments (Finance, Legal, Human Capital).
Use internal AI tools to improve efficiency in developing proposals.
Support data tracking on RFx win and down selection rates in Dynamics 365 CRM.
Collaborate with colleagues at TTEC Engage, platform manufacturers, and RFx primes (when TTEC Digital is the sub) to ensure clear communication on roles and responsibilities and internal milestones and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the work of an integrated pursuit team to meet all schedules and deadlines.
Assess the solicitation, resource requirements, and other proposal elements to determine proposal resource needs and schedules for the specific assigned opportunity.
Maintain close working relationships with all members of the RFx team as well as any key internal stakeholders to generate proposals – including document preparation, team coordination, writing, editing, proofreading, compliance, overall quality control, and deadline adherence.
Help define win strategies, themes, discriminators, key messages, and other pertinent proposal content.
Manage and communicate the proposal development and production schedules, keeping the team and management informed of risks and developing risk mitigation plans as they occur.
Lead all aspects of proposal phases which include, but are not limited to opportunity intake, kickoff meetings, internal proposal team meetings, reviews, submission, and post-submission after action review to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Develop and follow procedures to ensure proposals conform to client requirements and TTEC’s style guide in concert with the corporate marketing team.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Train internal team members on the proposal management process and tools as required.
If required, prepare physical presentation materials and arrange shipping of deliverables to clients (e.g. hard copies, flash drives).
Understand and stay up to date with TTEC’s offerings.
Supervise Proposal Specialist.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in proposal development with 3-5 years of experience leading the proposal response process, which includes proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong background developing win strategies, proposal plans, and other key deliverables for a successful proposal.
- APMP certification is a plus, or experience with APMP, Shipley, and/or similar methodologies.
Understanding of basic graphic principles for formatting a proposal.
Experience using Responsive (formerly RFPIO) RFx Solutions platform or other related cloud-based RFP Platforms is desired.
- Experience working on and leading remote teams.
- Proven strong writing, editing, and proofing skills.
- Experience with contact center technology, professional services, or cloud hyperscalers/platform leaders is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 platforms, with an emphasis on ability to work with MS Teams, MS D365, and MS SharePoint.
What You Can Expect:
The anticipated range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75K to $118K. Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill levels. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
