Proposal Specialist

As an International Pursuit Executive for the Asia Pacific Region, your role involves executing various international pursuits and analyzing RFQ and customer requirements. You will be responsible for preparing deliverables, proposal schedules, and tracking proposal delivery to meet submission deadlines. Additionally, you will participate in technical meetings, prepare technical queries, and respond to customer queries. Your role also includes preparing sound and cost-effective solutions based on RFQ requirements, cost estimation, system sizing, and preparing system architecture. You will work closely with the Proposal lead and Sales to understand customer requirements and prepare proposals accordingly. Key Responsibilities: - Execute various International Pursuits for the Asia Pacific Region - Analyze RFQ and Customer Requirements - Prepare deliverables list and proposal schedule - Track proposal delivery schedule to meet submission deadlines - Prepare technical queries and respond to customer queries - Participate in Technical Kick-off Meetings - Prepare cost-effective solutions based on RFQ requirements - Estimate costs and optimize inline with requirements - Size system hardware, estimate controller loading, size control network, prepare heat and power calculations, and system architecture - Prepare table of compliance for customer specifications - Help identify Risks and Mitigation plan - Derive/Tune engineering service estimate - Prepare commercial summary for the offering - Co-ordinate with Procurement teams and vendors for third-party items Skills Required: - Good knowledge of ICSS, DCS, SIS, PLC, SCADA, Third party interface - Understanding of Virtualisation, Cyber security solutions, Asset Management systems - Understanding of Hazardous Area classifications - Effective presentation and communication skills - Ability to work in cross-functional teams - Analytical skills to analyze technical limitations Qualifications and Experience: - Degree in Engineering - Minimum 3-8 years of experience in Automation DCS/SIS/PLC/SCADA solutions - Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical Industry preferred - Proposal-Estimation/ Inside Sales experience preferred - Good Interpersonal and communication skills (Note: Additional details about the company were not present in the job description.),
