About The Role
Program Manager will be responsible to Lead and coordinate cross-functional programs and projects within the Finance function, ensuring timely delivery of strategic initiatives (e.g., FP&A, MIS, Automation projects, ERP implementations, Compliances, M&A, etc.) while maintaining budgetary and quality standards. This role will work closely with senior leadership, ensuring timely and successful project delivery, managing stakeholders, and aligning strategic objectives with project outcomes. The Program Manager will act as a key facilitator in driving business process improvements, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple independent projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate cross‐functional resources, resolve conflicts, and ensure deliverables adhere to scope, schedule, and quality.
Reporting & Communication
- dentify and implement the best in class Project Management/ Collaboration tools to plan and track various projects/ programs.
- o Provide regular project updates, including progress reports, status meetings, and presentations to all stakeholders highlighting key milestones, changes, and risks.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across various Finance functions including Tax, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Compliance & Secretarial to align project goals and deliverables.
- oPrepare and present executive‐level status reports, dashboards, and risk/issue logs.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Escalate the issues to VP - Finance and work together to develop mitigation strategies and communicate potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
Process Design And Optimization
- Lead mapping, documentation, and standardization of Finance processes (cash‐flow forecasting, FX risk management, month‐end close, vendor reconciliations).
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and control enhancements.
Change Management
- Guide teams through organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions and the successful implementation of new systems, processes, and procedures.
Skills
- Analytical skills such as Financial Modelling skills, data driven decision making, KPI tracking, etc.
- Advanced Excel (VBA/macros, Power BI/ Tableau, SQL, etc.)
- Experience in SharePoint, Oracle Cloud Administration, Jira administration, Jira workflows & reports, and integrations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills - non-negotiable.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, work with cross-functional leaders and implement solutions.
- PMP or PgMP, PRINCE2, or any relevant project management certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience & Qualifications
- MBA in Finance or Accounting or similar relevant professional qualification.
- 5-6 years of program management experience, preferably at least the last couple of years in the finance domain.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
