Job Summary

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing user behavior, product usage patterns, and business metrics to inform product strategy and decision-making. You will work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and leadership to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that drive product improvements, user engagement, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product usage data, user behavior patterns, and engagement metrics across the Zato platform’s core modules (Dashboard, Jobs, Automation, Query Hub)
• Define, track, and report on key product KPIs including user adoption, feature utilization, automation success rates, time-to-completion metrics, and customer retention
• Conduct cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and user segmentation to understand user journeys and identify optimization opportunities
• Design and implement A/B tests and experiments to validate product hypotheses and measure feature impact
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using analytics tools for real-time product insights
• Analyze customer feedback, support tickets, and user interviews to identify pain points, feature requests, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and success metrics
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to benchmark Zato’s features, pricing, and positioning
• Analyze integration performance metrics (Xero, XPM) including sync success rates, API errors, and data accuracy
• Evaluate Autocoding algorithm effectiveness and workflow automation performance
• Provide data-driven recommendations for product roadmap prioritization
• Create executive reports and presentations summarizing product performance, trends, and recommendations
• Support go-to-market activities by analyzing pilot results, onboarding metrics, and expansion opportunities

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as a product analyst, data analyst, or business analyst, preferably in SaaS or B2B products
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from PostgreSQL or similar databases
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, Power BI)
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimental design
• Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis and modeling is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights from complex datasets
• Strong communication skills to present data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Experience with customer journey mapping and UX analysis
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple analyses simultaneously
• Experience in fintech, accounting, or compliance software is highly desirable
• Understanding of accounting workflows and financial metrics is a plus
