Software Tester / QA Analyst

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our applications. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to catch issues early, automate testing processes, and ensure a seamless experience for our end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and manual/automated test scripts based on project requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with development teams during the sprint cycle to validate user stories and features.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistency.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and sprint retrospectives with a QA mindset.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements to development and product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing (both manual and automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, Cypress, or similar.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web debugging tools.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience testing React, Angular, or Flutter-based applications.
