Software Quality Assurance Tester

As a QA Tester at Molecular Connections, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and security of software products through comprehensive testing. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and growing organization that values innovation and excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases (manual and automated) based on product requirements and user stories. - Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects using a bug tracking system. - Perform various types of functional testing, including regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Collaborate closely with development and product teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues promptly. - Develop and execute performance and load testing scripts to evaluate system response times, throughput, and stability under various load conditions. - Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization. - Conduct basic to intermediate-level security testing to identify common security flaws and ensure compliance with security best practices. **Required Qualifications:** - 3-5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing. - Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for functional, performance, and security aspects of software applications. - Proficiency with at least one test management tool (Jira, TestRail, ALM). - Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) is a plus. - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience with SQL and database testing. - Excellent analytical, communication, and written skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment. - Certification in a relevant area (ISTQB, relevant security certifications). - Experience testing APIs/Web Services using tools like Postman or SoapUI. - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
