Role - QA Automation testing (Web and Mobile)

Your Role

QA engineer @Codewave ,In this role you’ll be part of our QA team working closely with software developers and other engineers. You will be responsible for building, developing automation and executing test cases and maintaining them through constant evaluation, including in the regression test suite for newly integrated features. Your success will result in the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Your Responsibilities

• Experience in Test Automation using Selenium webdriver and appium
• Strong programming skills in Java/C#
• Develop and enhance to the existing automation scripts, tools and framework using Java, TestNG and Appium
• Execute automated test plans and regression tests for iOS/Android applications
• Maintain and improve the test coverage and ratio of automated test
• Advocate Automated Testing and CI/CD methodology, review and advise testing methods and best practices
• Identify, investigate, report, and track defects
• Hands on experience in Unit test frameworks like TestNG/BDD
• Test automation experience with expertise in iOS/Android app testing
• Experience on TestNG, Java, Appium, XCUITest with expertise in programming skills using Java
• Experience in Selenium webdriver
• Experience using BrowserStack or similar for app automation
• Excellent coding and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git, DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in test design, test automation frameworks, and scripting tests, API Automation testing experience using REST Assured or similar frameworks is a plus
• Hands on Experience in Jenkins,Maven and Bitbucket
• Should have worked in developing automation for testing APIs using framework like REST Assured.
• Should have good knowledge of the SDLC, STLC and defect life cycle.
• Experience with SQL
• Developer Tools and IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, Git.)
• ​Experience with AI-powered code editors and development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot etcK
• nowledge of AI-driven development optimizations, including automated testing, AI-based bug detection, and performance enhancement toolsM
