Job Summary:

The Plant HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to the plant management team, providing HR support and guidance to drive business performance, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies and labor laws. The HRBP will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with the plants operational goals and fostering a positive workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partner:

    Collaborate with plant leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support operational goals.
  • Talent Management:

    Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Employee Relations:

    Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Performance Management:

    Support and coach managers in performance appraisals, goal setting, and employee development plans.
  • Training & Development:

    Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Compensation & Benefits:

    Provide guidance on compensation policies, benefits administration, and reward programs.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations at the plant level.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting:

    Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and productivity.
  • Change Management:

    Facilitate organizational changes and support cultural transformation initiatives.
  • Employee Engagement:

    Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
  • Health & Safety:

    Partner with plant management to uphold workplace safety standards and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in manufacturing/plant operations
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior management
  • Experience in conflict resolution and employee relations
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office application
