Qualification – DIPLOMA/BTECH (Electrical)

Experience – Min 8Years as Plant Head in electrical/electronics/solar industries

Role & Responsibility: -

The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a solar manufacturing facility, which may produce solar cells, modules (panels), wafers, or related components.

The role ensures production efficiency, product quality, safety, and alignment with strategic business goals.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations Management

• Ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of solar products.
• Monitor and optimize production lines for maximum throughput and yield.
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to reduce waste.

2. Quality Assurance

• Enforce strict quality control procedures in line with industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISO 9001).
• Oversee testing, inspections, and corrective actions to maintain high product reliability.

3. Team Leadership & HR Management

• Lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, etc.).
• Ensure skill development, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

4. Safety, Health & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety standards and protocols.
• Comply with environmental regulations and implement sustainability initiatives.

5. Planning & Coordination

• Develop and manage production plans to meet business targets.
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, R&D, and sales teams to align on goals.

6. Maintenance & Equipment Management

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Implement Industry 4.0 solutions for predictive maintenance and real-time monitoring.

7. Cost & Budget Management

• Control operational costs while maintaining product quality and efficiency.
• Prepare and manage budgets, including capital expenditure planning.

8. Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure plant operations comply with national and international standards.
• Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and certification bodies as needed.

9. Technology & Process Innovation

• Collaborate with R&D to implement new solar technologies (e.g., PERC, TOPCon, HJT).
• Drive automation and digitization initiatives to improve productivity.
