Plant Head

As the Plant Head for Toy Injection Moulding at Favorite Food Company in Indore, MP, India, you will be responsible for leading the Injection Moulding facility. With 10-20 years of experience in plastic injection moulding, particularly in the toy or consumer goods sector, you will oversee production management, team leadership, quality assurance, machine and tools operations and maintenance, as well as new product development. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the injection moulding lines and equipment, ensuring production efficiency, meeting delivery and quality targets, and managing a team of 50-150 employees. You will be expected to drive a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance within the team while focusing on training, development, and performance management. Additionally, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with toy safety standards, implementing CAPA processes, managing root cause analysis for quality issues, and resolving production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Tracking and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Production Uptime, Cost per Unit, On-time Delivery Rate, and other metrics will also be essential to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for this role should have a B.Sc. / Diploma / B.Tech in Plastic Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. You should possess 10-20 years of experience in plastic injection moulding, including 2-4 years in a plant leadership role. Technical skills required include expertise in Yuzumi and Goldcoin injection moulding machines, knowledge of plastic materials such as ABS, PP, PS HD, LD, TPE, and familiarity with robotic automation and ERP systems (SAP S/4 HANA).
