Lead and manage end-to-end plant operations including Production, QA, QC, Engineering, EHS, Warehouse, and Utilities.
Ensure API manufacturing operations comply with cGMP, WHO-GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
Achieve production targets with optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
Oversee implementation and adherence to SOPs, BMRs, BPRs, change control, deviation, CAPA, and risk management systems.
Ensure audit readiness for regulatory inspections and customer audits.
Monitor and control plant budgets, operating costs, and capital expenditures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, yield, quality, and cost reduction.
Ensure effective EHS systems including hazardous chemical handling, waste management, and safety compliance. Coordinate with R&D; and Technology Transfer teams for scale-up and commercialization of new APIs.
Manage plant manpower planning, performance management, training, and leadership development. Ensure preventive maintenance and reliability of plant equipment and utilities.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement for raw material planning and inventory control. Prepare and present MIS reports, KPIs, and operational reviews to top management
