Job Title: Consultant – BESS Structure & Manufacturing Engagement Type: Retainership (Initial 3 Months, Extendable upon Satisfactory Performance) Company: Surya International Enterprise Private Limited About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Consultant who will support us in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) structure design, development, and manufacturing strategy. This is a retainer-based engagement for an initial period of 3 months , which may be extended based on performance and satisfaction . The consultant will work closely with our engineering, R&D, and production teams, providing expert insights, guiding structural design decisions, recommending manufacturing best practices, and ensuring efficient execution aligned with international standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation on the structural design and development of BESS systems. Guide the team on manufacturing processes, vendor selection, and component sourcing. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure project requirements and timelines are met. Recommend industry best practices and innovations for BESS design and optimization. Assist in setting up SOPs and quality standards for BESS production. Troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges and propose feasible solutions. Monitor and report progress regularly to the senior management team. Support technology benchmarking and market research as required. Desired Candidate Profile: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in BESS structure design and manufacturing (or related field). Strong understanding of lithium-ion and other battery technologies, BESS enclosures, thermal management, etc. Hands-on experience with structural engineering software/tools and manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Previous consulting experience preferred. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
