The Credit Control Manager will be responsible for setting credit policies, evaluating credit risks, managing a team, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Credit Management Develop and implement credit control policies, procedures, and credit limits. Evaluate new and existing customer creditworthiness through financial analysis, credit scoring, and risk assessments. Approve or recommend credit limits and payment terms. 2. Receivables Management Monitor the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all debts are collected in a timely manner. Review and reconcile customer accounts regularly. Ensure accurate and timely allocation of receipts. 3. Collections Lead and manage the collections team to follow up on outstanding invoices. Resolve invoice disputes and escalate problematic cases to management. Maintain regular contact with key customers to secure payments. 4. Reporting & Analysis Prepare weekly/monthly reports on receivables, aging, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), bad debt provisions, and collection efficiency. Highlight high-risk accounts and overdue balances to senior management. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with the Sales, Legal, and Customer Service teams to resolve credit issues and support customer relationships. Liaise with external credit rating agencies and legal advisors when required. 6. Team Leadership Manage, train, and motivate the credit control team. Set performance KPIs and review team performance regularly. 7. Compliance Ensure adherence to company credit policies and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audit processes.
