Designation: Manager Department: Production Location: Vasai – Plant Experience: 8 – 15 Years (Formwork) Job Description: The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and evaluating machine resources to ensure high productivity with minimal downtime. They will oversee the manufacturing workforce, providing motivation, guidance, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing efficient production schedules, setting clear production goals, and striving to reduce costs while boosting output. The role involves regular communication with senior management about any challenges, as well as collaborating with quality control and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the manager will establish workflow policies, maintain optimal staffing levels, and continuously seek improvements in processes to enhance efficiency and product integrity. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime Oversee a workforce of labours & employees in the manufacturing department Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel Develop and implement production schedules and plans. Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. Collaborate with quality control and supply chain departments for smooth operations. Qualification and Skills: BE in Mechanical Engineering High project management skills Proven track record of achieving production target Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as as a group Good communication skills.
