Quality Manager

As a Quality Manager in the Aluminium Formwork Manufacturing industry, your role involves overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance within the manufacturing unit. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that products meet internal and customer specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise in metal fabrication, precision engineering, and aluminium formwork systems will be essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to Aluminium Formwork. - Monitor and improve internal manufacturing quality processes, including welding, extrusion, cutting, and assembly of formwork panels. - Conduct root cause analysis and initiate Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for quality issues. - Ensure incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods meet quality specifications. - Lead the team for in-process inspections, final inspections, and first article inspections (FAI). - Set up and maintain testing protocols for dimensional accuracy, material strength, and surface finishing. - Utilize tools such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, and CMM where necessary. - Manage and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors and Engineers. - Conduct regular quality training sessions for production staff to instill a quality culture on the shop floor. - Coordinate and lead internal and external audits. - Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards applicable to formwork systems. - Handle customer complaints, site feedback, and ensure prompt resolution of issues. - Support site teams and clients with quality documentation and technical details related to formwork systems. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, with a minimum of 3 years in the Aluminium Formwork industry. - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
