As an Optical Bonding Engineer (Mechanical) in Coimbatore, you will be a valuable addition to our team if you are passionate about product design, precision engineering, and display innovation. You will be responsible for leading product design and development activities, implementing GD&T, DFMEA, and DFR principles, driving design reviews with suppliers, and developing optical bonding for display modules. Troubleshooting LCD/TFT backlight and illumination issues will also be a key part of your role. You should possess a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics with 5-10 years of experience in mechanical/product design. Hands-on experience with DFM, DOE, GD&T, DFMEA, DFR, expertise in optical component & backlight module design (TFT/LCD), proficiency in tolerance stack-up analysis, and structural/thermal analysis are essential requirements. A strong background in NPD, QMS, APQP, and PPAP processes, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, will be beneficial for this role.
