Role Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing performance marketing strategy to handle assigned D2C brands. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.


Responsibilities


Analytical & Data 

  • Data analysis – Ability to interpret campaign data, spot patterns, and draw actionable insights.
  • ROI tracking & attribution modeling – Understanding where conversions come from and which channels drive the most value.
  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency – For data manipulation, reporting, and forecasting.



Channel Expertise


  • Google Ads – Mastery in keyword targeting, bidding strategies, ad copywriting, and Quality Score optimization.
  • Meta– Knowing how to build audiences, structure campaigns, test creatives, and scale ad sets
  • Email & CRM marketing – Understanding how to drive retention through automated campaigns.


 Performance Strategy


  • Full-funnel strategy – Knowing how to design campaigns for awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
  • Media planning & budgeting – Allocating budgets across platforms to meet CPA, ROAS, and other KPIs.
  • Audience segmentation – Creating precise target groups using behavior, demographics, and intent.

 Technical & Tool Skills


  • Ad platforms – Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Competition tools – Meta Ads library, Google Ads library etc
  • Tag management – Experience with GTM (Google Tag Manager), pixel setup, and event tracking.

Creative Collaboration

  • Briefing creative teams – Writing clear performance-based briefs for video, static, and UGC content.
  • Understanding ad psychology – Knowing what kind of messaging, visuals, and hooks work for direct response.
  • Feedback loops – Communicating insights back to the creative team for ongoing optimization.


Communication & Reporting

  • Client/stakeholder communication – Translating numbers into understandable takeaways.
  • Dashboard creation – Building reports in Sheets,Looker, or similar tools to showcase performance.
  • Crisis handling – Knowing what to do when campaigns underperform (pivoting strategies quickly).


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • 1-2 years experience in performance marketing for e-commerce brands
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
