Job Summary
This managerial role anchors strategic and operational excellence within the India Supply Chain. The Manager will lead critical initiatives that blend financial stewardship, operational optimization, and digital transformation. By driving data-led decision-making and championing cross-functional collaboration, this role ensures seamless alignment with global and regional SCM priorities. The position demands strong leadership in steering supply chain performance, shaping cost strategy, and enabling sustainable efficiency across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Operational Leadership
- Own the annual supply chain budgeting cycle covering Opex, Capex, and production metrics, with accountability for achieving financial and operational targets.
- Lead cost optimization programs by analyzing cost structures, eliminating inefficiencies, and ensuring operational scalability.
- Drive end-to-end process improvement initiatives with measurable impact on supply chain efficiency and business profitability.
Data-Driven Business Partnering
- Lead the development of enterprise-grade performance dashboards and analytics frameworks to enable proactive decision-making.
- Provide leadership with advanced scenario modeling, trend analysis, and predictive insights that guide strategic planning.
- Act as a business partner to senior leadership, ensuring supply chain strategies align with long-term business objectives.
Synergies & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and align all sub-functions within SCM (Manufacturing, Planning, Costing, Quality, and Logistics) into one cohesive performance-driven unit.
- Build strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure supply chain strategies directly support enterprise growth.
- Partner with CXOs and senior leaders to influence key decisions with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Innovation & Digital Transformation
- Champion adoption of advanced SCM technologies, automation, and reporting tools (Power BI, Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAP) to accelerate decision-making and build a data-first culture.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, embedding innovation and continuous improvement across the supply chain ecosystem.
Leadership, Reporting & Factory Optimization
- Deliver high-impact business reviews, executive reports, and board-level presentations.
- Drive regular plant and factory assessments to optimize performance, ensuring alignment with global benchmarks and efficiency targets.
Mentor and guide team members, building future-ready talent pipelines within SCM.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA or advanced certifications in supply chain, analytics, or digital tools strongly preferred.
Experience & Expertise
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, financial planning, and operational optimization in a manufacturing or operations-heavy environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadership.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in cost efficiency, process optimization, and supply chain transformation.
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
- Strong ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
