As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee multiple centers, ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, and lead operational readiness for new centers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Center Operations Oversight
Manage day-to-day operations of assigned Shishuka centers to ensure high-quality patient care and seamless service delivery.
Monitor staff schedules, patient flow, housekeeping, nursing, billing, and front desk operations.
Oversee inventory management (pharmacy, vaccines, consumables) to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
2. Expansion & New Center Setup
Take the lead in setting up new Shishuka centers, including:
Coordinating with civil contractors, interior designers, and facility vendors for timely execution.
Managing timelines, budgets, and quality during setup.
Facilitating license transfers/approvals (KPME, Pharmacy, Trade License, Pollution Control, etc.).
Work closely with leadership to finalize and negotiate property leases, rent advances, and vendor contracts.
Ensure new centers are fully functional and smoothly handed over for regular operations.
3. Staffing & HR Coordination
Collaborate with HR to ensure sufficient staffing for all centers (doctors, nurses, front desk, billing, housekeeping).
Assist in staff onboarding and orientation at new locations.
Support HR in monitoring attendance, leaves, and resolving staff grievances.
4. Vendor & Financial Oversight
Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
Ensure cost-efficient procurement of equipment, consumables, and services.
Monitor operational budgets and highlight cost-saving opportunities.
5. Compliance, Quality & Patient Experience
Ensure all centers meet regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
Maintain NABH (if applicable) and internal quality standards.
Regularly review patient experience and work with teams to resolve complaints/escalations promptly.
6. Coordination & Reporting
Travel between centers (within 5–8 km radius) for oversight and issue resolution.
Report operational updates, challenges, and metrics to senior leadership on a regular basis.
Provide recommendations for continuous process improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in hospital/clinic operations management, preferably in multi-location healthcare setups.
Strong negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, landlords, and contractors.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Hands-on experience in inventory management, staff scheduling, and compliance.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Flexibility to travel locally within Bengaluru.
