Marketing Automation Specialist
CTC: ₹5 to 7 lakh
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist with expertise in ecommerce marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing marketing automation strategies across multiple communication channels to drive customer engagement, retention, and sales. The role also requires experience with CRM, automation workflows and managing customer journeys effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Automation Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement automated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and WhatsApp to improve customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Leverage marketing automation platforms to create personalized, triggered, and lifecycle-based campaigns for eCommerce customers.
Utilize CRM data to manage customer segmentation, customer journeys, and integrate marketing campaigns across platforms.
Design and optimize email workflows, SMS campaigns, and push notifications to nurture leads, convert prospects, and re-engage customers.
Campaign Management & Optimization:
Set up and monitor email, SMS, push, and WhatsApp campaigns, analyzing performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and making data-driven optimizations.
Segment audiences based on user behavior, purchase history, and preferences to deliver targeted messages that drive engagement and increase customer lifetime value.
Conduct A/B testing on campaign content, subject lines, messaging, and send times to improve performance.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of automated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business KPIs.
Utilize data to generate actionable insights, and continuously improve campaigns based on customer behavior and market trends.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with the eCommerce, product, and marketing teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
Collaborate with the creative team to design compelling, on-brand email templates, SMS copy, push notifications, and WhatsApp messages.
Customer Journey Management:
Map out and automate customer journeys from acquisition to retention, ensuring seamless communication across all touchpoints.
Develop re-engagement strategies for dormant customers, cart abandoners, and first-time buyers to improve conversion rates and reduce churn.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in marketing automation for eCommerce or digital marketing.
Proven expertise in WebEngage for automation, customer segmentation, and campaign management.
Strong experience with email marketing, SMS marketing, push notifications, and WhatsApp marketing.
Salesforce experience required, with a solid understanding of its marketing automation capabilities and CRM tools.
Ability to design and implement data-driven marketing strategies that drive engagement and ROI.
Experience with A/B testing, customer journey mapping, and segmentation.
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and how to integrate marketing automation tools with them.
Strong analytical skills to track and optimize marketing campaigns, with a focus on improving key metrics.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
