  • Shift Incharge – Cranes (MHS)

Key Responsibilities{{:}}

  • Troubleshoot and service ABB Drives{{:}} ACS 880, ACS 800
  • Troubleshoot and service Siemens Drives{{:}} SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES, SINAMICS S120, G120, DC Drives
  • Use and manage software tools{{:}} Siemens Starter, Siemens Drive Monitor, ABB Drive Composer, Simatic Manager
  • Support EOT Crane commissioning and backup development
  • Maintain drive-related documentation and support audits
  • Ensure shift-wise availability and smooth functioning of cranes

  • Hands-on experience with industrial drives (ABB & Siemens)
  • Familiar with EOT crane logic, drive tuning, interlocking, and fail-safes
  • Proficient in drive software tools and Siemens PLC interface
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability

Key Responsibilities{{:}}

  • Monitor and maintain slab caster operations and mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot systems{{:}} AMLC, EMS, HMO, BOPS, Online Mould Width, Segment Gap Optimization
  • Troubleshoot and maintain ABB Drives (ACS800, ACS880) and Siemens Drives (S120, G120)
  • Diagnose issues in instruments like control valves, transmitters, encoders
  • Operate and maintain Torch Cutting Machine systems
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting and hardware understanding
  • Use software tools{{:}} Simatic Manager, Siemens Starter, ABB Drive Window, SAP
  • Handle shift activities, manage SOP, SMP, HIRA compliance

  • Technical knowledge of slab caster processes
  • Hands-on with instrumentation and drive troubleshooting
  • Basic programming knowledge for Siemens PLC
  • Team leadership and shift management
  • Automation Engineer – Level 1

Key Responsibilities{{:}}

  • Troubleshoot Siemens PLCs{{:}} S7-300, 400, 1200, 1500
  • Work on SCADA systems, WinCC, CFC, and safety logic
  • Use software{{:}} Simatic Manager, TIA Portal, Distributed Safety, CFC
  • Implement and maintain PLC-to-PLC communication, client-server architectures
  • Ensure real-time data exchange, system backups, and documentation

  • Troubleshoot VFDs, PLCs, and software systems in BOF operations
  • Handle instruments{{:}} flow meters, pressure and temperature transmitters
  • Experience across SMS areas{{:}} BOF, EAF, LRF, AOD, FES, EOT Cranes
  • Familiarity with large electrical assets{{:}} Transformers, VCBs, Motors

  • Operate and supervise 33kV/6.6kV switchboards, transformers, and relays
  • Maintain 160 MVAR Static VAR Compensator (SVC) for reactive power support
  • Conduct inspections, monitor equipment, and respond to electrical faults
  • Perform preventive/corrective maintenance as per OEM standards
  • Test and calibrate protective relays, CBs, interlocks
  • Ensure LOTO compliance, risk assessment, and safety protocols
  • Maintain detailed logs and generate reports for breakdowns, maintenance, and analysis
