Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Tester with hands-on experience in Enablon and other Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) platforms to translate business needs into clear requirements, ensure solutions meet functional expectations, and lead testing and UAT activities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and process-mapping skills with practical testing experience and the ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, gather and analyze business and user requirements from stakeholders across EHS, operations, compliance and other functional areas.
  • Document business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria; maintain requirements traceability.
  • Map current (as-is) and target (to-be) processes using standard process-mapping techniques and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Enablon administrators, developers, and third-party consultants to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, configuration instructions and data mapping documents for Enablon modules (incident management, audits & inspections, permits, corrective actions, compliance, etc.).
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts and test data aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute functional, integration and regression testing; log defects, validate fixes and coordinate retests. Plan, coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business users; capture feedback, confirm acceptance and manage sign-offs.
  • Support system configuration review, data migration validation and cutover/testing activities during deployments.
  • Prepare testing status reports, traceability matrices, defect reports and other project artifacts; escalate risks and issues appropriately.
  • Provide training materials, quick reference guides and hands-on support to users during UAT and go-live.
  • Promote best practices in SDLC, testing and change control; contribute to continuous improvement of processes, templates and tool usage.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (BA), Quality Assurance (QA)/Tester or combined BA/Tester role; experience with Enablon or another EHS platform is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, documenting as-is/to-be processes and producing SDLC artifacts (BRD, FRD, use cases, traceability matrices).
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, user acceptance) and test management tools (Jira, automation testing tools etc.).
  • Hands-on experience developing test cases, executing tests and managing defects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel for test data/traceability, Visio or similar for process maps) and basic SQL or data validation skills preferred.

Nice-to-Have

  • Direct experience configuring and working as an Enablon administrator or integrator.
  • Knowledge of EHS, compliance, risk management, incident management, audit processes.
  • Experience with data migration activities and ETL validation.

  • Product management experience — defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features and translating business needs into delivery plans
  • Planning and coordination skills — experience coordinating cross-functional delivery, managing releases, and tracking milestones across stakeholders
