WE ARE SEEKING FOR MIS (Management Information System) professionals are responsible for managing and analyzing data to support business decision-making, improve operations, and ensure the efficient functioning of IT systems within an organization. Below is a detailed list of job responsibilities typically associated with an MIS role:

Job Responsibilities

v Data Management & Reporting

o  Collect, organize, and maintain large sets of data.

o  Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.

o  Use Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to prepare dashboards and summaries.

o  Maintain databases and ensure data integrity and accuracy.

v System Maintenance & Support

o  Monitor and maintain MIS software and tools.

o  Troubleshoot system or data issues and escalate when needed.

o  Coordinate with IT for system updates, upgrades, and backups.

v Business Analysis

o  Analyze trends and patterns to support business strategy.

o  Identify process improvement opportunities using data insights.

o  Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.

v Documentation & SOPs

o  Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reporting and data handling.

o  Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and processes.

v Coordination with Departments

o  Collaborate with sales, finance, HR, operations, and other teams to understand reporting needs.

o  Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports to stakeholders.

v Automation & Optimization

o  Automate repetitive reporting tasks using macros, scripts, or reporting tools.

o  Continuously improve reporting efficiency and data visualization.

v Compliance & Security

o  Ensure data security and confidentiality.

o  Adhere to company policies, data protection laws, and industry standards.

Technical Skills Often Required

•           Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros)

•           SQL for querying databases

•           Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

•           Basic programming/scripting (Python, VBA) – optional but advantageous

•           Understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) – role-dependent
