Job Description: MIS Executive (Sales Coordinator) with Accounts & Tally Knowledge

 

Job Title: MIS Executive – Sales

Department: Sales / Operations

Reporting To: Sales Head

 

Job Summary:

The MIS Executive will handle sales data management, reporting, sales coordination, and basic accounting tasks using Tally. The role involves maintaining sales records, ensuring proper follow-up with clients, assisting in invoice preparation, and supporting management with accurate MIS reports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Sales Coordination

- Coordinate with sales team for daily updates, lead status, and client follow-ups.

- Maintain customer master data and update sales trackers.

- Assist in preparing quotations, agreements, and follow-up schedules.

- Track dispatch, delivery, and service completion.

 

2. MIS Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

- Maintain dashboards for sales performance, collections, pending orders, and outstanding dues.

- Analyze sales and collection data.

- Update Excel/Google Sheets trackers for automation.

 

3. Accounts

- Create and manage sales invoices, debit/credit notes

- Maintain ledgers, customer accounts, and voucher entries.

- Record receipts, update outstanding receivables, and assist in reconciliation.

- Prepare outstanding statements, ageing reports, and collection schedules.

 

4. Administrative & Documentation Tasks

- Maintain documentation for invoices, agreements, and dispatch notes.

- Coordinate internal communication between sales, accounts, operations, and management.

- Prepare letters, statements, presentations, and reports.

- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of company data.

 

Required Skills:

- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Data Validation, Dashboarding).

- Understanding of basic accounting principles.

- Communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

 

Qualifications:

- Graduate in Commerce/Business Administration.

- 1–3 years experience in MIS, sales coordination, and accounting.

- Knowledge of Tally ERP is mandatory.

 

Additional Requirements:

- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain accuracy.
