Role Objective: A key objective of this role is to ensure accurate, timely and compliant accounting operations related to vendor payments, salary accounting and export business transactions, with a focus on SAP (FICO module), tax regulations and MIS reporting. The role requires hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration to maintain financial discipline and support internal stakeholders. Desired Candidate Profile Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent) Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment with exposure to export business Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP, particularly in the FICO module Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of TDS, TCS and GST regulations Other Requirements: Strong problem-solving abilities Good communication and presentation skills Detail-oriented with a keen interest in finance and accounting operations Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities Role & Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and payments in SAP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines Post and reconcile salary expenses, with regular reviews of booking versus payment Maintain and reconcile vendor ledgers; identify and clear open items in a timely manner Handle payments for India operations, including advance (DPR) requests as per purchase order terms Coordinate with internal departments and auditors to ensure correct documentation and process flow for payments Support preparation and submission of MIS reports for internal stakeholders Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable tax regulations, including TDS, TCS, and GST Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP (FICO) functionality for efficient process handling Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementation of best practices Functional Skills Required Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in SAP FICO module (invoice processing, vendor payments, ledger management) Understanding of export documentation and transaction accounting Familiarity with statutory tax compliance (TDS, GST, TCS) Ability to prepare and analyse MIS reports Behavioral Skills Required Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ethical, dependable, and team-oriented Team Size to Be Handled: This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts.
